Position Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing Vestion’s human resources functions for a remote and globally dispersed team. This includes managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance with local regulations, and fostering a positive work culture. The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams in multiple time zones, a strong understanding of international labor laws, and a passion for building an inclusive, collaborative workplace.


Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent across various countries.

• Coordinate with department heads to understand hiring needs and manage the recruitment process.

• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the Vestion team.

2. Employee Relations and Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing any HR concerns, and promoting a culture of open communication.

• Implement strategies to boost engagement, retention, and job satisfaction across remote teams.

• Develop team-building initiatives and promote a strong, inclusive company culture despite geographical distances.

3. Performance Management

• Implement performance management practices, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development programs.

• Provide guidance and support to managers for handling performance-related issues.

• Identify and implement development opportunities for high-potential employees.

4. Compliance and Policy Development

• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and tax implications in each country where Vestion operates.

• Create, update, and enforce HR policies that support global operations, balancing consistency with regional needs.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of international labor regulations and work with legal teams when necessary.

5. Compensation and Benefits

• Work with finance to structure competitive and fair compensation and benefits packages across countries.

• Research and recommend benefits that align with Vestion’s culture and employee expectations.

• Handle payroll coordination and benefits administration in multiple regions.

6. Training and Development

• Develop and oversee training programs, focusing on leadership, cultural sensitivity, and skill-building to support Vestion’s growth.

• Support the professional development of staff, aligning with individual goals and company objectives.

• Coordinate virtual workshops, seminars, and other learning opportunities.


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, CIPD) preferred.

• 5+ years of HR management experience, with at least 2 years managing international teams.

• Strong understanding of international labor laws, cultural sensitivity, and experience working with remote teams.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Experience with HR software and tools to manage a distributed workforce.

• Proactive and adaptable, with a passion for fostering a positive and collaborative workplace.
